B&W
A LEGENDARY LOCATION
Urban Ranger Camp is based in the historic B&W shipyards halls – S1 and S2 – on Refshaleøen in central Copenhagen.
HISTORIC ENTERTAINMENT
It was in these halls, that the legendary Danish shipyard – Burmeister & Wain – from 1950 until their closure in 1996, built sections of giant container ships and coasters. They were later assembled in the nearby dock, and sailed out into the Øresund sea.
The largest of the 2 halls – S2 – is 150 meters long 50 meters wide and impressive 75 meters in height, approximately the same height as a twenty-story building.
To reach the different activities, Urban Ranger camp uses escalator, combined with the ingenious stair and walkway system, that still exists from the shipyard days.
The Team Challenge activities are situated in heights from 7 to 40 meters.
Urban High Roping is situated in 50 meters height, under the roof of the S2 Hall – which makes it the highest indoor High Roping track in the world.
Urban Ranger Camp shares the 2 halls, with Copenhagen Paintball Arena and The Royal Danish Theatres backdrop workshop. Where the 2 other actors uses the floor space, Urban Ranger Camp has seized the airspace from 7 meters height and upwards. This creates a thrilling venue for Urban Ranger Camps brave guests, who may occasionally experience a frantic paintball “war”, with a great view.
